TG is a lovely boy and he has been a real pleasure to teach. He always tries to produce his best and he has bettered his abilities in many curriculum areas during the year. He is a happy and polite boy who shows a good example to other children.
School can be a really hard time for many children coming into foster care for a whole number of reasons. For some, they haven’t been able to consistently attend school due to an unstable homelife and for others they may have had to move around a lot.
Often, seeing a difference in how well a foster child is doing in school with their confidence and work, is a great indication as to how far they have managed to come with the love and care of a foster family and, a safe and secure home environment.
For TG, aged 8, when he came into care, he was behind his peers in most subjects. Here are a couple of excerpts from TG’s end of year school report. We are all just bursting with pride for you TG, well done!
TG is a lovely boy and he has been a real pleasure to teach. He always tries to produce his best and he has bettered his abilities in many curriculum areas during the year. He is a happy and polite boy who shows a good example to other children. He understands that hard work leads to success, and he has a positive attitude to learning. Well done!
TG is a lovely boy who has continually thrived and flourished since joining us. This is due to the hard work and effort that both he, and you both have devoted to his learning, his life and his wellbeing. I am so proud of him, and I truly believe this move was life-changing for him – thank you!
TG is definitely one of those children! I wish you lots of luck and happiness. The world is your oyster TG!
