Mitchell Goold, birth son of Capstone foster carers Mat and Jenny Goold, has saved a drowning dog from the river. The beloved pet whose lead was completely stuck had been missing for 24 hours. Mitchell bravely jumped into the river to free the tangled lead and managed to save the dog who was later reunited with its family.
Every dog owner can imagine the absolute heartache of their pet going missing. Whilst we of course would never encourage anyone to jump into a river, we want to say just how proud we are of Mitchell for just being an amazing human being and acting on his instinct to save a life. We can only imagine how grateful the dog owners are! Well done to you Mitchell!
