30th January, 2019
A group of our foster carers and staff from our Hampshire office chased away the January blues this week and had a fantastic night out taking part in a Murder Mystery evening. Carers and staff were assigned scripted roles and asked to work out who the culprit was during a meal at the Avon Causeway’s own vintage railway carriage. Around 20 people came along and it was a brilliant evening with such fun had by all. It’s wonderful to have opportunities like this for carers and staff to come together and let their hair down. Our next scheduled event will be the Annual Capstone (Hampshire office) Easter Egg Hunt which will be open to all carers, birth children and looked after children. The event will be held in during the half-term week and there will be a limited number of eggs to find by members of the public as part of an exercise to promote foster carer as a rewarding career.
