Day 9: Little things but with big love: In life it is the little things that count the most, this is the same when it comes to fostering, every little thing you do will mean the world to the young people you are caring for. They may have not had many experiences of loving moments in their life but creating new memories and having you there to help them along their journey will mean everything to them.

Become a foster carer and take part in those little things that mean the world to children in care.

Day 10: Give them space to heal: You will be caring for children and young people who have gone through traumatic experiences which may impact the way they look at life going forward but with your help you can support them to become the best version of themselves regardless of their past experiences. By being their foster carer and allowing them into your safe, loving home, you will enable them to have the space they require to heal themselves and build new memories.

Day 11: You become more selfless: When you take on the roll as a foster carer, you will become selfless because you will put the needs of the young people who are relying on your care first. You will start to see the world from their eyes, and you will want the very best for them. We will provide you with extensive training and all the support you require to help you along on each step of your fostering journey.

Day 13: If you don’t, who will?: More than ever before, there are children and young people out there who need a safe and loving home. Many will not have had the luxury of growing up in a healthy and caring environment which a lot of us take for granted.
