As we finally see some sunshine this year, there seems no better time to share this wonderful poem from TR about the different seasons.
What I Like About Being Outside.
Springtime.
Flowers poking their head through the dirt.
Seeing the birds collect twigs to build their nests.
Bright yellow daffodils growing in bunches by the roadside.
Summertime.
I like playing in the grass.
Hearing the bird singing in the trees.
Splashing around in the hot tub playing the mermaid game.
Playing with my toys in the garden.
My skin feels nice and warm in the sun.
Autumn.
I like the leaves changing colour to red and orange.
Then they flutter down and make a bright carpet.
I can smell the bonfires at night time.
Winter.
I like making snow angels and my feet making a crunching sound in the snow.
I wrap up warm in my coat and gloves and feel cosy.
I see Robins hopping around the garden.
I feel excited seeing Christmas trees through people’s windows.
