14th November, 2018
This November, three members from Capstone North, Sam, Sharon (SW) and Jo (SW) will be taking part in Centrepoint's Sleep Out to break the cycle of youth homelessness! Sleeping out on a bitterly cold and damp November night won’t be an easy task but it will help to give some of society’s most vulnerable people the support they need to rebuild their lives. Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people - but what does that actually mean? It means that they support 10,000 young people every year. Centrepoint helps homeless young people, aged 16-25, to stay with Centrepoint for up to two years, they further support them for another six months to make sure they can also live independently. Centrepoint provides accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. Their team goal is to raise £700 to help them continue their important work. If you would like to donate or find out more, please visit: https://sleepoutmanchester2018.everydayhero.com/uk/capstone-foster-care-supporting-youth-homelessness It would also be great if you could spread the word about what Sam, Sharon and Jo are doing by sharing the link above with your friends and family. The more people that know, the more money we can raise! Thanks in advance for your generosity - it means a lot! Capstone Foster Care supporting youth homelessness!
