In October, the South East team had a wonderful trip to the 02 Cinema in London along with our children’s champions, children and young people and we even had a foster carer join us too.
We saw the amazing film Dune, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, and we were super impressed with all our young people’s patiences as the movie was 2 hours long! We also enjoyed some popcorn with the added bonus of chocolate buttons on top. A great suggestion from one of our children’s champions. This went down really well and everyone loved the combo!
After the cinema we all enjoyed a great lunch at Las Iguanas and everyone had such a lovely time.
The foster carer who joined us at the event said:
“It was a great day and really well thought out - the chocolate buttons in the cinema were great and the meal was lovely. It was lovely to meet other young people. Thanks again for organising and running things so smoothly.”
