20th November, 2020
World’s Children’s Day is an annual celebration created by UNICEF to allow children to be the stars of the show for one day. This is an annual day of action for children, by children.
It is a day of action to advocate and raise awareness on the issues jeopardizing children’s rights, to give kids the right space to express their views and support them in reimagining the future and acting for a better tomorrow.
This year, more than ever, children need our help to make changes which will benefit their future, there are many ways you can get involved and help the children in your life. As a society, as a community, and an individual, we can all contribute in our own way to making the world a better place.
Changing the world for a child or young person is at the heart of everything that Capstone Foster Care does. We base our existence on six core values. These values help us build the team who can make the change to one child at a time. Each young person is an individual who by the very fact of being born, is entitled to the best that the world can offer. Capstone’s entire foundation is built on this, in all our efforts, as emphasised by our core values.
On 20th November, kids will reimagine a better world. What will you do? Share your ideas and updates here.
