20th December, 2019
Staff based in our Devon office recently wore Christmas jumpers to their local foster carer’s Christmas lunch. Our brilliant foster carers also got involved and were able to raise £58 for a local charity, Humanity Torbay. Humanity Torbay was formed in March 2017 in Torquay as an advice centre for all requiring help and assistance with benefits, housing enquiries, and advocacy by appointment. Additional to this service, it provides an invaluable supporting service for street homeless persons, in need of some respite, food, warmth, cups of tea/coffee, spare clothing and some social contact during the day, especially during the winter months. CEO, Ellie Waugh received the donation on behalf of Humanity Torbay and thanked Scott Wickers, team manager.
