Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my weekly update blog, this week has been full of fun and the best week ever, I have loved it! It has been a great second week at Foxes Academy and I’m looking forward to what the next few weeks bring. Here is what I have been up to this week:
Monday: I had my functional skills session where I did some writing and learnt new words. After the lesson, I went for a walk which was nice and peaceful. My next lesson of the day was Maths where I learned about money and the different types available. In the evening, I cooked chicken fajitas which were yummy.
Tuesday: I went for a walk around Minehead to explore the local area and see what is out there. In the evening, I did some cleaning and played 'Game of Life'.
Wednesday: I had my health and wellbeing session where I did some cleaning, afterwards I went shopping to buy the ingredients to make chicken kiev’s. Once I had all the ingredients I needed, I headed back to the house to make the chicken kiev’s which I had with chips and vegetables. After dinner, I just chilled out and relaxed.
Thursday: I went to work where I had to do a Covid clean and learn about kitchen safety which was interesting. After work, I did a Kahoot quiz which was so much fun. In the evening, I did some Zumba which I really enjoyed, I think I will do this regularly as it is a great way for me to keep active.
Friday: I had my life skills session where I did my personal shopping and budgeting. After that, I created a quiz and did some cleaning. After I completed my lessons and cleaning, I went for a walk around Blue Anchor, after my walk I treated myself to a fish and chips takeaway which was delicious.
So, all in all another fab week at Foxes Academy and I am very excited for next week!
